Planning Thanksgiving travel? Wet weather could slow you down both to and from your destination.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After the foggy start this morning, we've given way to clear skies and temperatures in the mid 50s. We'll slide through the 40s this evening before bottoming out in the mid 30s first thing Tuesday morning.

Most of Tuesday will be dry, but the clouds will build out ahead of our next weather maker. Despite the extra clouds, temperatures will be mild in the lower 60s.

Rain chances will ramp up Tuesday night and stick around through the first half of Wednesday, so keep that in mind if you're trying to drive or fly on the busiest travel day of the year. Behind the rain, we'll see some gradual clearing and breezy winds. Highs will still manage the mid 60s.

LOOKING AHEAD

We'll have some passing clouds Thursday but stay dry for Thanksgiving Day! Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Friday comes with clouds and isolated showers, before more scattered showers Saturday and then, as of now, turning rainy at times Saturday night through Sunday. We'll hover near 60 degrees both days.

Colder air will move in with this front, bringing scattered snow showers to area Monday morning, as of now.
