TDOT: Tractor trailer crash causing delays in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two tractor trailers were involved in a wreck on the interstate in Jefferson County that is causing long delays, TDOT reported.

The crash occurred early Friday morning on the ramp from exit 412 to I-40 east in Jefferson County near Deep Springs Road. TDOT said the road isn't closed, but due to the amount of wreckage and amount of emergency vehicles, there will be backups in the area.

The road is suspected to be cleared up by 2 p.m.
