KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Some fans waited for hours for their first in-person look at the 2019 Vols.

"Got to get them front row seats, that's what it's all about," Chase Johnson said.

They're hopeful for a better season this year.

"I just want to see improvements on the offense and the defense,"
Johnson said.
"I'm real excited for the game. It's a big deal for me."

The Orange and White game is a chance for the team to show fans how they've grown and what to expect this fall. This is the second season under Coach Jeremy Pruitt.

"They're falling into his plan,"
Brad Hester said.
"They are starting to listen, they're starting to react better. I think they're doing good."

He says a few things still need some work.

"They're not hitting the holes fast enough, but I think that will come,"
Hester said.
