Sunny and less humid today

Heather Haley # weather
humid

We have a wonderful midweek break from rain chances and high humidity, but both will be back soon.

WHAT TO EXPECT.

We have areas of fog and haze this morning, with patches of dense fog. Be prepared for limited visibility!

We have a beautiful Wednesday. If there are some things you need/want to do outside, today is your day! It's sunny and less humid, with a dewpoint around 60 degrees that means it's a little sticky but better than it has been, and adds 1 to 2 degrees to the "feels like" temperature. We're topping out around 89 degrees, so that's also a nice average high for this time of year.

LOOKING AHEAD

Tonight will be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with increasing clouds by Thursday morning and patchy fog. The low will be around 66 degrees, with a light breeze out of the Northeast..

The humidity will start to climb a bit Thursday, along with clouds and isolated rain and storms. Most of the developing showers and storms will be in the higher elevations, Plateau and Smokies, but a stray shower or storm is possible in the Valley Thursday. The high will be around 90 degrees.

Rain chances increase again Friday through Saturday, with scattered to on and off batches of rain and storms especially through Saturday night. Temperatures will be pushed back closer to 80 for the weekend, with scattered showers left for Sunday, then isolated Monday.
