Sevierville police warn of new scam involving doughnuts

SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - The Sevierville Police Department is warning of a new scam involving doughnuts.

The police department said that there have been several reports of a person going door-to-door saying they are fundraising by selling doughnuts. However, SPD says the person is actually scamming residents of Sevierville.

They say to be especially careful and wary of anyone claiming to be fundraising in this manner.
