Sevier County named one of top 19 trending Airbnb destinations for 2019

Sevier County, Tenn. — Making travel plans for 2019? East Tennesseans can look no further than their own backyard for one of the year's most popular destinations.

Based on a new report from Airbnb, the Great Smoky Mountains are one of the top 19 trending locations for 2019 vacationers.

The report says homes in the Sevier County area have a 190 percent increase in year to year searches and bookings.

Though the report highlights the Smokies, it also draws attention to Dollywood as an attraction to the area.
