Seeking Rural TN Artists for 2023 Class of Periscope: Rural Artist Development

The Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville seeks rural Tennessee artists for the 2023 class of Periscope: Rural Artist Development (Periscope RAD), an online training and mentorship program uniquely designed to be a transformative experience empowering rural artists with the entrepreneurial skills to help them thrive.

Periscope RAD provides tools and resources to help rural artists organize, plan, and sustain creative careers with the goal of developing individualized business plans based on their unique creative output. Each cohort is made up of a diverse group of artists, artisans, makers, and creative entrepreneurs of varying artistic disciplines from throughout the state. With sessions led by expert business advisors and small group work facilitated by arts professionals from across Tennessee, Periscope RAD is designed to be a transformative experience for each artist sparking the moment when their career will really start to take off.

Rural artists interested in the program may attend a virtual information session hosted by the Arts & Business Council on Friday, November 18 at Noon CST (1 p.m. EST) to learn more about the program, application process and important dates. Register online here. Questions? Email us at info@abcnashville.org.
