Pigeon Forge seeking police officers

The city of Pigeon Forge is accepting applications for police officers.

Applicants must be 21 or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid Tennessee driver's license, undergo a post-offer medical and psychological exam, and have a clean criminal record.

They must also pass a physical fitness and written test, as well as live within a 30 mile radius of Pigeon Forge. This can include people who reside in Sevier, Cocke, Blount, Jefferson, Knox and Hamblen counties.

Applications can be submitted online or picked up in person Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Pigeon Forge Police Department, 3225 Rena Street. They should be mailed to City of Pigeon Forge, Human Resource Department, PO Box 1350, Pigeon Forge, TN 37868-1350 by Friday, August 3.
