“Mamma Mia!” Opens Studio Tenn’s 10th Anniversary Season

FRANKLIN, TN – – Studio Tenn begins its 10th anniversary season with the ABBA-filled hit musical, “Mamma Mia!” Aug. 16-Sept. 8 at the Jamison Theater in the Factory at Franklin.

With a cast of Broadway alums, music industry professionals and local college students, “Mamma Mia!” tells the hilarious and heartwarming story of a young woman's search for her birth father.

The powerful mother-daughter duo of Donna and Sophie will be portrayed by Erica Aubrey and Emily Urbanski, respectively. The two women already share a real-life connection, as Aubrey is Urbanski’s vocal instructor at Belmont University.

Urbanski is not the only character with whom Aubrey shares a relationship outside of the show. The musical theatre instructor is also cast alongside Miles Aubrey, her husband who plays Sam, Donna’s love interest. Miles Aubrey is a Broadway veteran and longtime touring musician. He is currently the music director and lead guitarist for six-time Grammy nominee Brandy Clark.
