Knoxville team producing new Netflix show starring Rob Schneider

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Ready to make your silver screen debut, East Tennesseans? You could get the chance to be cast in a new Netflix show that will be filmed in Knoxville.

Richie Walls, one of the creators of " Dog Years," announced on Facebook that he would be part of a new show starring Rob and Patricia Schneider. Walls will be the producer and casting director, and he is working on the project with his partner, John Black, with Black Walls Entertainment.

"We will start casting and shooting as soon as possible,"

Walls said the show will have a "ton of cameos" and they are hoping to cast as many Tennesseans and local talent as possible. According to Walls, the Schneiders will be in Knoxville, and the team will be searching for film locations.
