Food drive to benefit Sevier Co. food ministries next week

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A food drive to benefit Sevier County food ministries will be held next week.

Next week on March 14, the fifth annual Jim Johnson Memorial Food Drive will be held at the Park Vista in Gatlinburg. For a minimum donation of $8 or a donation of 10 non-perishable food items, you can enjoy a buffet.

Held from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., you can choose from buffet foods like: sweet tea brined pork loin, broccoli and cheese casserole, strawberry shortcake, apple cobbler and your choice of drink among other food items.

The Park Vista is located at 706 Cherokee Orchard Road. You can order "to go" by calling 865-436-9211, and all proceeds go towards the Sevier County Food Ministries.
