New dog park opening in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A new dog park is opening for pet owners in Jefferson City.

The community dog park will open in the Jefferson City Centennial Park. The ribbon cutting will be held Saturday, April 27 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

The park is being donated to the city by the group C.A.R.E. (Companion Animal Rescue and Education).
