$1K reward for info about assisted living center construction theft

The Knoxville Police Department has asked for the public's help identifying two suspects involved in a burglary that happened at a construction site on June 2.

Investigators said several thousand dollars in building materials and tools were stolen by two males in a truck.

According to KPD, the suspects were last seen in what appears to be a mid-2000's Toyota Tacoma single-cab pickup truck with the right brake light missing and a bug deflector on the hood.

The site, located on Westland Drive, is the future home to a new assisted living center.

A $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects responsible is being offered by the owner of the assisted living center.
