Sevier County Man Facing Charges After Boarding School Bus With Knife On Meth

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Sevier County man is facing charges after allegedly boarding a school bus with a knife while on meth.

According to a report by the Sevierville Police Department, 25-year-old Taylor Gassier of Sevierville boarded a bus headed for Sevier County High School on August 25, 2017. Police were called due to a suspicion that Gassier was intoxicated and not a student at the school. Officers found that Gassier had a large steak knife and small pocket knife in his possession and had been up for the previous five days due to being on meth.

Gassier was transported to the Sevier County Jail and has been charged with Public Intoxication, Criminal Trespass and Possession of a Weapon on School Property.
